Nelson Transport Services, Inc. (NTS)
is a family owned transportation business that offers specialized courier and LTL delivery services.

Founded in July 1999 by Freddie Nelson and the late David Nelson, brothers and experienced logistics operators, NTS was created to fill a custom service void in the logistics industry. Freddie and David, born and raised in Arkansas, attended a major truck driving school in the Midwest where Freddie was promoted to regional director and David worked as a supervisor. NTS CEO, Freddie Nelson, became a trained and certified CDL driver in 1977, went on to work both union and non-union operations for local and long-haul carriers, and has operational experience in dock procedures, loading, unloading and scheduling.

Initially NTS specialized in the immediate, same-day delivery needs of local businesses in the Chicagoland area. Shortly after, LTL delivery services were added at a nationwide level and today we offer these services on an international level with transport services throughout Canada. With the addition of a climate controlled warehouse, cross-docking services are now available for further service options and client convenience. Deliveries can now be scheduled over a one to six day timeframe.
